Uh No, Harold and Kumar 2 Didn’t do as Good in the Box Office
Written by Jay on April 28, 2008 – -
Wow, Harold and Kumar 2 Escape from Guantanamo Bay got terrible reviews from the get-go and I guess that follows with a half-ass box-office weekend opening for them as well.
Don’t get me wrong, it did a lot better than their first movie on the opening weekend in the box-office, but that’s not saying much. They opened with $14.6 million which was actually second only to Tina Fey’s “Baby Mama” this past weekend.
And with that $14.6 million opening, that was nearly triple what they earned in the opening weekend of their first movie. So, in the bigger picture for them, it was positive.
Personally, I did see the movie and I thought it was pretty funny. Though, “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” was hilarious in my eyes too and it did okay in the box-office. But people are saying Jason Segel’s movie will be knocked out of the top 5 this upcoming week. I mean, “Ironman” is coming so that’s basically guaranteed the number 1 spot.
And if no one believes me, I’m willing to take bets that it will finish number 1 this week!

NYPD Officers Acquitted in the Sean Bell Case
Written by Jay on April 27, 2008 – -This past Friday, I found out that the three NYPD officers that let off 50 shots that killed an innocent man the day before his wedding were all acquitted from their charges. And I’m still pissed off due to that fact.
But Detectives Gescard Isnora, Michael Oliver and Marc Cooper were all acquitted, so essentially, they all got away with murder and that just tells me that this justice system protects its own but doesn’t help the innocent. This just shows how police officers can get away with so much, and it happens every single day.
Matter of fact, I bet there are more occasions where police officers abuse their privileges than people getting into car accidents. And that’s saying a lot. But I’m sure we have all seen it, some may not even notice when police officers abuse their privileges. I mean, some need to meet their quotas in giving out a specific number of tickets per day/week or some just need to run red lights to get to Dunkin Donuts faster because they need their caffeine and honey glazed. Of course, purchased with their 50 percent discount.
Now, I’ll go on record to say not every cop is bad or abuse their privileges, but most of them do. At least all the ones I have seen or encountered.
Honestly, I don’t want to go into details on those NYPD police officers getting acquitted for murdering an innocent man, Sean Bell. If you want more details, feel free to read it at DatMoney.com.
But be careful when it comes to cops, cause I’m not sure who they’re really protecting!

Megan Fox is the Sexiest Woman
Written by Jay on April 24, 2008 – -FHM’s magazine holds their annual top 100 sexiest women in the world list and Megan Fox dethroned last year’s sexiest woman, Jessica Alba. Matter of fact, Megan Fox has made an incredible jump since her debute on the top 100 list in 2006 where she was ranked No. 68 and ranked No. 65 in 2007.
Rounding out the top 10 were Megan Fox, Jessica Biel, Jessica Alba, Elisha Cuthbert, Scarlett Johansson, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Hilary Duff, Tricia Helfer, Blake Lively and Kate Beckinsale.
Here are some Megan Fox photos because how are we going to talk about how sexy someone is without having proof, right?
And let’s give some photo shout outs to the top 10 sexy women too!
And I can’t complain with the top 10! Simply beautiful!

Not Another Shot at Love with Tila Tequila!
Written by Jay on April 23, 2008 – -
I know I’m not the only one… but Tila Tequila, why is your show given another season? How many times can you find love? Honestly, the first season… well, it was pretty annoying. But hey, a lot of people must have loved it because there are so many people who love this chick who claims to be bi-sexual (even though rumors have it that she’s only saying that for the show).

Forget Kobe, Lebron James for MVP!
Written by Jay on April 21, 2008 – -
Okay, I felt Kobe Bryant was robbed of the MVP awards the last couple of years, especially when he dropped 81 points in one game! He was definitely robbed, but the MVP simply isn’t based on how you score, it’s about how good you make your team with your overall play. And although Kobe is arguably one of the best players ever, I think my vote still has to go to King James.
Why am I choosing Lebron James? That’s obvious, he’s a gifted player at such a young age and ever since he came into the league, he has definitely lived up to his hype. Not to mention he single handedly took his Cavs to the finals with basically no support from his team. Well, maybe I’m exaggerating but come on, even Michael Jordan had Scottie Pippen!
Now I know Kobe has become more of a team player this year, and now that he has more support with Paul Gasol, he’s definitely a favorite for the MVP this year. And let’s not forget players like Chris Paul and Kevin Garnett and what they have done for their teams. But again, look at their support on their teams. Lebron simply doesn’t have that type of support.
I mean, Lebron James almost averaged a triple-double this season and like 30 points a game. He truly makes his team look good, not the other way around.
So, although I don’t think he will actually get it this year, Lebron James has my vote for MVP. Again, he lives up to his hype at such a young age and I bet he’ll take the Cavs deep into the playoffs, if not the NBA Finals!
For the record, Lebron James just helped his Cavs take Game 2 against the Wizards. He was only one rebound short of a triple-double. He scored 30 points, had 12 assists and 9 rebounds. If that’s not MVP caliber material, I don’t know what is!
King James lives on!
