American Idol Rigged? David Cook Wins
Written by Jay on May 22, 2008 – -
Just the other day I mentioned that American Idol was rigged and if David Cook wins, that would just prove my point even further. Guess what ladies and gentle-fellas? Davis Cook just won American Idol! So, what does that tell you?
I mentioned in my last post that Simon was on Jay Leno and he gave his “opinion” on who he thought would win and he did mention David Cook. Now, that doesn’t mean that American Idol is fully rigged just with this example, but is it just a coincidence? Hmm… I don’t know.
It happens that Simon gave his opinion on Jay Leno prior to the voting and of course, the Tonight Show is a very popular show watched by millions of viewers. And then it happens that after Simon gave his personal opinion, David Cook ended up winning by more than 12 million votes?
Coincidence… I think not!
Again, this may not actually prove American Idol is rigged but we all know it is. There are no longer amatuer singers hoping to make it big, these “amatuers” and one-hit wonders already have agents, signing contracts, etc.
Conclusion: American Idol just isn’t the same thing as it used to be!

American Idol: David Cook Versus David Archuleta – Can Anyone Say ‘Who Cares?!’
Written by Jay on May 20, 2008 – -
We all know American Idol has been one of the most popular television shows out there since they came out, but we also know that it’s becoming less attractive to people. Well, at least this person. I mean, who wants to watch a singing contest when it’s obviously based on popularity and when it’s officially rigged.

Wow, the San Antonio Spurs are Truly a Veteran Team – Beats the Hornets
Written by Jay on May 20, 2008 – -
I’m not going to lie to you, I was slightly cheering for the San Antonio Spurs last night to come back and take the series against the New Orlean Hornets. I didn’t think they could fully do it, especially since they were down 2-0 and not many teams come back from that in the playoffs. But the Spurs just showed why they are a true veteran team and why they won four championships.
Now, I am a Chris Paul fan but the Hornets are a pretty young team and if you watched the series, the Spurs kept their composure the entire team, even when they were facing elimination. I mean, did you see all heated emotions out of the Hornets? They were letting things get to their heads. Again, that’s why the Spurs are the veteran team who has won four championships and looking for their fifth.
They just need to get past the Laker and the winner of the Celtics and Pistons series. Yup, I’m biased, I’m cheering for the Celtics all the way. Though, they have a long way to go.
But for Chris Paul and the Hornets, their time will come. Same thing for Lebron James, his time will come. I can guarantee they will not end up like the Karl Malones and the John Stocktons who were great players that never won a championship.

Will the No. 1 NBA Seeds (Lakers, Celtics) Make it to the Next Round?
Written by Jay on May 16, 2008 – -
Forget the Pistons, the Magic, the Spurs, the Hornets… my question is “will the number 1 seeds make it past the second round?” And secondly, will the Lakers and Celtics make it the finals for a 1980’s flashback? Larry Bird versus Magic Johnson days but it’ll be Kobe versus Kevin… but it doesn’t look too good for either team.
Take the Boston Celtics (my hometown), yes they are winning 3-2 in the 7-game series against the Clevelan Cavs but that is pretty deceiving. Why? Well, they haven’t won a road game in the playoffs!
Don’t get me wrong, technically, they don’t need to because they have home-court advantage throughout the playoffs because they had the best record in the regular season but if they happen to lose that one game at home, there goes their chances.
Now, the Lakers. Same thing like the Celtics, they are up 3-2 in the 7-game series against the Utah Jazz but Mr. MVP Kobe Bryant is not playing 100 percent. Don’t get me wrong, it didn’t stop him in game 5!
Tonight, both the Celtics and Lakers are playing game 6 on their opponents court, honestly, I’m hoping they win. Personally, I don’t care if the Lakers win but I definitely want to Celtics to win, even though I’m a Lebron James fan.
So, let’s go Celtics!
Oh, and I have a feeling the San Antonio Spurs might come through in game 7 against the Hornets. I mean, there’s a reason why they have won 4 championships in the last 9 years. Plus, the Hornets are a young team and Chris Paul simply can’t do it all by himself!
