Cowboys WR Terrell Owens gets Signing Bonus w/ Popcorn?

Earlier this week, Dallas Cowboys Entertaining Wide Receiver, Terrell Owens got a great signing bonus. But instead of a large check for millions, he received a huge tub of buttered popcorn.
Of course, Jerry Jones, owner of the Dallas Cowboys, was kidding. His actual signing bonus was for $12.9 million dollars, though, the giant tub of popcorn was definitely amusing – especially to Owens.
For those you guys who don’t know much about Terrell Owens’ background, he loves being the center of attention, even if it’s controversial. But he has a lot of off-field issues but he likes to play practical jokes and come up with crazy end zone celebrations.
Hints of why Jerry Jones presented T.O. with the tub of popcorn. One of Owens’ many, yet unique, end zone celebrations included him taking a tub of popcorn from someone in the stands and dumping it into his mouth.
Hey, he deserves it. If he makes a touchdown, the least he can do is rejuvenate with some delicious popcorn.
Though, I would prefer a drink!
But all and all, what if all football players got paid with popcorn for their signing bonus? Well, I think they wouldn’t be as hungry after a touchdown celebration!
