Since we’re staying on the 2008 Olympics discussions, LoLo Jones , the USA favorite to win the hurdles, a track & field star, a woman on a mission… well, she has some nice eyes! Matter of fact, she’s pretty hot as well!

I know everyone is going to mention how LoLo Jones faltered on her last hurdles competition when she knocked down a hurdle and finished seventh. And I know she was the favorite for the gold medal and I know she lost but life isn’t perfect and we can’t win it all. I mean, shit happens, right?

Of course we all wanted her to win so we’re all pretty disappointed as well, but probably not as disappointed as her. There are always other races so you can never count LoLo Jones out.

If you guys don’t know who Alicia Sacramone, she’s an Olympic gymnast and more recently, she’s probably going to be known as the one who lost the gold medal for America by falling off both the beam and floor but honestly, I could careless. Alicia Sacramone is hot and she’s gold to us anyways!

On top of Alicia Sacramone being hot, she also represents my hometown of Boston, Massachusetts. She’s from Winchester which isn’t too far away from me. Matter of fact, she was born in December and so was I!

Anyways, Alicia Sacramone is a member of the U.S. National team, she is a 2005 World Champion on floor exercise, the 2008 U.S. National Champion on vault and a seven-time medalist at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. Lastly, she is also a member of the 2008 U.S. Olympic team.

This week has been very depressing, first we hear about Bernie Mac passing away and now we hear about Isaac Hayes passing away at the age of 65.

For those who don’t know who Isaac Hayes is, he was a musician, a composer, and a producer. He was most known for his Theme from Shaft, which won the Academy Award for Best Original Song.

Others probably have heard him numerous times but never realized it was him. Besides being the voice of the Shaft theme, he was also Chef on the show, South Park.

Isaac Hayes who accomplished tons within his 65 years was found unconscious and collapsed near a treadmill in his Memphis home by his wife, Adjowa.

Hayes leaves behind a widow, three ex-wives, 12 children, 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Rest in peace, Isaac Hayes.

I cannot believe Bernie Mac is dead. I just found out Bernie Mac died this morning from complications due to pneumonia.

Bernie Mac, who was only 50, had been hospitalized for the last week at Northwestern hospital but I heard he was getting better so I didn’t think too much of it. Then all of a sudden, I turn on my internet and right on Yahoo I see a headline “Bernie Mac dies at 50.”

Honestly, I couldn’t believe my eyes. The hilarious original king of comedy suffered from sarcoidosis a few years ago, which is a rare autoimmune disease that causes inflammation in tissue, most often lungs, and it is said that was the cause of the complication mixed with the pneumonia.

Bernie Mac who was born Bernard Jeffrey McCullough was never afraid to speak his mind.

I will be back with a tribute to Bernic Mac. I’m still in shock about his death but I just wanted to get this information out there to you guys. I’m sure you’ll have seen it on every major website but just incase you missed it.

Rest in peace, Bernie Mac.

I missed my box-office prediction for last week but the week before I did pretty good. I predicted The Dark Knight was going to finish on top with Step Brothers finishing second and I was pretty close on the weekend earnings as well.

Anyways, this week, will the Dark Knight remain on top? Last week they barely beat out The Mummy but I’m going to take a shot and say they will barely finish first, again.

Now I have my doubts but I thought about it and saw what was coming out this weekend and didn’t see any real box-office contenders. I mean, Pineapple Express came out, looks pretty funny but I highly doubt it’s going to do better than Step Brothers’ opening weekend of $30 million.

I know their Superbad movie pulled in about $33 million the opening weekend but the downfall is the fact that the movie is rated R and how many pot smokers will actually pay to see the movie?

Also, the chick flick Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 is out but like I said, it’s a chick flick. And I don’t think there will be enough chicks forcing their boyfriends to watch it with them. Let me correct myself, I think the boyfriends will take a stand and not be a victim to this movie (including myself!).

So, this is my predictions:

1. Pineapple Express with $31 million – Hey, I’m going to support the movie this weekend!
2. The Dark Knight with $27 million
3. The Mummy with $22 million

Well, I know you guys thought I was going to pick the Dark Knight but think they will be dethroned this week by the pot smoking snack munchers!

The chick flick won’t make it in the top 3…
