Dr. Dre’s Detox Album is Finally Coming!

In a recent interview with USA Today, the West Coast super producer announced the Detox album will be hitting stores around November or December this year!
“I’m just now – over the last couple of months – starting to feel that it’s going to be right and it’s something I can be proud of, and everybody is going to love it,” Dre told the interviewer. “In a perfect world, I’m shooting for a November or December release.”
Now, it seems like we’ve heard that line before. I swear Dr. Dre’s Detox album was going to hit stores the past two or three winters ago. But to give Dre credit, he’s a perfectionist and if the album isn’t right, well, he’s simply not going to release it.
“I’ve never set out to do that,” Dre said. “I just make the music feel the way I want it to feel and I don’t put it out until I’m totally happy with it. Then it does what it does.”
Well, if you still have slight doubts on the release of Detox, Snoop Dogg definitely backs up the theory that it’s coming soon. And Snoop definitely feels it was well worth the wait.
Snoop Dogg says “I see what he got them waiting for, it’s on and poppin,’ Snoop said. "He got records, he got heat.”
“That record is real it’s coming. You know me, I was starting to doubt it myself and then I went up in there and he plays so much music for me, it knocked my head off.”
Now that the release date has been announced, there will be a couple questions in the back of our minds: Will Detox actually hit stores like they say? And will it live up to the hype and wait for the past few years?
I guess all we can do is wait… unless you got a inside man to get me a bootleg copy of Detox!

YEAH….YEARS…but to you all, I can promise you that detox WILL drop in 2010 GARUNTEED…no doubt. Dre dropped the first chronic, then ten years later right when people started saying fuck Dre, he dropped chronic 2001(dropped in 2000) hence “forgot about dre” record. Now this is year ten after Chronic 2001, noticing a pattern here??? lol…and after anticipating this album for a few years now from the fans some are giving up and starting to say fuck dre AGAIN, still noticing the pattern??? The man’s got 400+ tracks to choose from…and even Warren G in a very recent interview said its a DEFINITE drop this year, and most likely right after Em’s relapse 2 drops. Remember when the slim shady lp dropped then shortly after chronic 2001 dropped…lol…still noticing the pattern??? lmao Bet the farm on this one people…and mark my words these two albums(relapse 2/detox) will almost literally shit all over the hip hop world…one more thing… its like a riddle…lol “Before I Self Destruct” (I’LL) “relapse” (THEN) “detox” …lol STIIIIILL noticing the patterns here???
