Pittsburgh Steelers Wide Receiver Santonio Holmes Charged with Marijuana Possession

It looks like Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Santonio Holmes was just charged with marijuana possession. Apparently, after police made a traffic stop they smelled the aroma of the marijuana and then also found the blunts in his car as well.
Of course, most people would get some sort of jail time for drug possession but because Pittsburgh police probably don’t want to go against their hometown NFL team, he’s probably going to get off with just probation and maybe a rehab class or two.
Who knows what the Steelers are going to do as disciplinary actions but they are definitely aware of Holmes because this isn’t the first time he has run into the law.
But get this, Holmes was stopped without his license but that’s not the funny part. It was said that officers in the area were alerted about a vehicle that was similar to Holmes’ and they were carrying tons of drugs.
Of course, after they pulled him over they found out that wasn’t the same vehicle.
Yeah, right.
Anyways, we’ll see how the Steelers treat this situation. They probably won’t suspend him but just tell him he shouldn’t do it again.

I love the Steelers man, but this is some serious down time. I agree that the consequences for him may not be so bad, after all, it’s Pittsburg.
