Dwight Howard Twitter Shout Out

How many of you guys are following Dwight Howard on Twitter? Well, it looks like right after the Orlando Magic defeated the Boston Celtics, he gave a quick Dwight Howard Twitter shout out to his followers.
Has Twitter become so big that everyone is just randomly going to give free publicity to them by shouting out people? I mean, has Twitter become more popular than Myspace because of its easy and quick usage?
Anyways, I thought it was funny that Howard was giving a shout out to his Twitter followers. But then again, a bunch of celebrities all have it nowadays and they’re Twitting like there’s no tomorrow.
Though, I think he’s a great player and I’m a big fan of his, I didn’t exactly want my hometown team to lose…
