The 27-year-old is a schoolteacher from Reading, England, who has fallen short in other attempts to make it big as a singer. According to The Daily Mirror, he has been in two boy bands, Upfrunt and Streetlevel, but neither of them ever caught on.  The paper also reported that Johnson performed on television with a rock band called Empty Spaces and has auditioned for “X Factor” three times.

The audience and the judges were nearly as taken with his performance. “When we see a performance like that, it’s the absolute perfect audition,” judge Dannii Minogue said. “So exciting to be sitting here on this panel.”

Michael Jackson Homicide Murder

The Associated Press has heard from a L.A. law official that the L.A. County coroner has ruled Michael Jackson’s death a homicide.  The official says the coroner determined a fatal combination of drugs was given to Jackson hours before he died.  Forensic tests found the powerful anesthetic propofol in Jackson’s system along with two sedatives, the official says.

According to the search warrant, Jackson’s doctor, Conrad Murray, told detectives with the Los Angeles Police Department that he had been treating Jackson for insomnia for about six weeks. He had been giving Jackson 50 milligrams of propofol every night using an intravenous line, according to the court records.

The finding makes it more likely criminal charges will be filed against the doctor who was with the pop star when he died.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police have confirmed that Ryan Jenkins, the subject of an international manhunt, has been found dead in a room at the Thunderbird Hotel in Hope, a town in the Canadian Province of British Colombia.

It has not yet been determined how long the body has been there.

Jenkins is the prime suspect of the brutal murder of his wife, former Playboy model, Jasmine Fiore.

They were last seen together at an all-night poker game in San Diego, California.
The discovery of her mutilated body eventually pointed the finger at Jenkins and authorities tracked him fleeing across the Canadian border in a speedboat.
Felony murder charges were filed by the Orange County DA’s office.

Preliminary reports suggest that Jenkins, an investment banker and former reality show contestant on, “Megan Wants a Millionaire,” took his own life by hanging himself.

VH1 has not yet decided on whether or not they will air “I Love Money 3” which also features Jenkins and is set to air in 2010.
