Sprint 4G Coverage Map

Written by Jay on March 25, 2010 – -

Sprint 4G Coverage Map – In case you are a Sprint cell phone user then you’ll probably be interested in the Sprint 4G coverage map because 3G may be the new thing that for today but 4G is the stuff for tomorrow.

A lot of people always complain about the random dead zones spots in the world, country, state or city. Every cell phone company has those as they can’t possibly coverage every aspect of the world but you’ll get a rough idea with the Sprint 4g coverage map.

There are various places in which you can check out the Sprint coverage map for the 4G coverage but if you go to http://coverage.sprintpcs.com/IMPACT.jsp which is the Sprint’s direct website, you’ll have the option of typing in an address to see if it covers that area in 3G or 4G.

Hope that helps!

Pwn2Own Contest 2010

Written by Jay on March 25, 2010 – -

Pwn2Own Contest 2010 – Pwn2Own recently had a contest for all hackers to try their best to hack into select programs and devices. And in this case, it was the iPhone, IE8, Firefox and Safari.

These contests always has the best of the best hackers from all over the country and they show up to try to hack the supposed “un-hackable” programs. Well, here are some of the results for the Pwn2Own Contest 2010:

- Pwn2Own MacBook attack: Charlie Miller hacks Safari again
- Peter Vreugdenhil exploits IE8 on Windows 7 to win Pwn2Own
- Vincenzo Iozzo and Ralf Philipp Weinmann hacked iPhone

Every hacker that successfully hacked into the programs were paid anywhere between $10,000 and $15,000. Not a bad days work if you ask me!

On top of that, some of the hackers were allowed to keep the hacked devices such as the iPhone.

Lucky them, huh?

Sanyo VPC-ZH1R Review

Written by Jay on March 12, 2010 – -

Sanyo VPC-ZH1R Review – The Sanyo VPC-ZH1R HD camcorder was recently one of the deal of the days at a very cheap price. Of course, there are some people who just jump into it but some people would like to read reviews on if its good or not.

So, if you’re looking for a video camera which can actually record HD then you should consider checking this camera out especially since it was only $139.99 as the deal of the day.

“Xacti” which is the “also known as” name for the VPC-ZH1R. This VPC-ZH1R Camcorder can capture a video with HD Compatible technology with 720 pixel, 30 FPS (Frame per second) and 30x Optical Zoom. Within the package deal, you’ll also get an extra battery bag, a memory card and HDMI cable.

The Sanyo VPC-ZH1R features 30x optical zoom and 50z digital zoom. You can actually check out the full details and specs here.

Overall, it’s a very good video camera especially given the price for it. It’s small and handy and it also has a long recording time and battery life which is really key to recording to me. Although, it’s not $139.99 anymore because of the deal of the day is done, you can still get it at a very good price somewhere along the lines of $180.
