Written by Jay on April 4, 2010 – -Hopkins vs Jones Jr Fight Results – If you had a chance to watch the Bernard Hopkins vs Roy Jones Jr fight then you would be one of the many disappointed boxing fans out there. Although it was a good fight for Hopkins, for everyone else it just seemed to be a very long and boring fight.
Hopkins ended up winning in a 12 round unanimous decision but the fight was so long and boring between the two 40+ year old fighters. Hopkins did up end getting sweet revenge to avenge his loss from 17 years ago to Jones Jr but this hyped up fight was just that… just hyped up.
Hopkins will probably end up trying to fight David Haye in the near future if a fight can be arranged. While Jones Jr and his sloping action in his fight career will probably consider retirement.
