Kevin Martin Trade

Written by Jay on February 18, 2010 – -

Kevin Martin Trade - Hey, they are all rumors until it actually happens but there is a Kevin Martin trade that is supposedly going to happen right before the NBA trade deadline. And rumors have it that he might end up being traded in a package deal that would also include Tracy McGrady… so Kevin Martin would end up going to the Houston Rockets and Tracy McGrady would go to the Kings.

Again, this is all speculation until the trade officially goes through and everybody passes their physicals. But others that would be involved in this trade would possibly include Carl Landry, Joey Dorsey, Kenny Thomas, Hilton Armstrong, and Sergio Rodriguez.

We’ll see what happens later tonight when the trade deadline closes out.

Kobe Bryant NBA Player of the Decade

Written by Jay on February 15, 2010 – -

Kobe Bryant NBA Player of the Decade – Whether we agree with it or not, Kobe Bryant has been named the NBA Player of the Decade by TNT. I mean, he does bring a tremendous resume with him and some people are saying he will be the best player ever to play the game.

Kobe Bryant is a 13-time All-Star selection, he has four championship rings under his name and he is also sporting league MVP and Finals MVP to top out his resume. Not to mention, he’s on the All-Defense team, tons of scoring titles and he just passed Jerry West as the all-time points leader for the Lakers.

I’m not saying he doesn’t deserve especially since his game speaks for itself but I guess I’ll always have some sort of doubts when people are named “NBA Played of the DECADE”.

How Tall Is Nate Robinson Really?

Written by Jay on February 12, 2010 – -

How Tall Is Nate Robinson Really – Every year when Nate Robinson participates in the Slam Dunk Contest, people question how tall is he really? I mean, he looks a lot smaller than everyone else on the court but he’s still dunking like crazy. Well, in this year’s Slam Dunk Contest 2010 he will defend his title once again… well, if a blizzard doesn’t hold him back from making it over there.

In the 2010 Slam Dunk Contest, the following participants will be dunking for us:

- Nate Robinson
- Shannon Brown
- Gerald Wallace
- DeMar DeRozan or Eric Gordon (will compete in a dunk off tonight)

But I can’t wait until tomorrow night because the slam dunk contest is the main event everyone wants to see!

Greg Oden Dirty Pictures

Written by Jay on January 28, 2010 – -

Greg Oden dirty pictures seem to be making its rounds on the internet and all I have to say is “ew, really?” But maybe it’s not even his fault. I believe I read somewhere that he was sexting with some woman he doesn’t even really know and decides to send her a picture of himself posing in the mirror.

Of course, he recently apologized for letting these pictures leak. He wasn’t even the one who spread these pictures around, he only sent it to that one person. Of course, once he did a domino effect took place. Plus, if you think about it, he’s somewhat of a celebrity.

Well, he was a former number one overall pick but so far he’s been a pretty big disappointment. Too bad he’s probably getting more publicity from this than from his actual basketball playing in the NBA.

Shaq Retires?

Written by Jay on December 11, 2009 – -

shaq retires

So, a rumor has been going around about Shaq retiring and honestly, I think it might be old news to some people because he briefly mentioned it before. So, Shaq retires? Well, not quite yet. Technically, he still has a contract through the end of next season.

I think Shaq’s whole deal was trying to win another championship and hopefully help another great, Lebron James, win one before ht officially hangs it up. If you remember, Shaq also helped Kobe Bryant and Dwayne Wade win a championship too.

But anyways, Shaq hasn’t officially retired and he won’t until his contract is up at the end of the 09-10 season anyways. So, hopefully he can get that done this year because we all know Lebron and all those other soon-to-be free agents might test out those waters at the end of this season.

So, Shaq, if you want to help Lebron win one, you have to at least get close to the NBA Finals for him to even consider staying around. :D
