Dr. Dre’s Detox Album is finally going to hit stores? Well, for the past few years, Dr. Dre has kept hinting the Detox album was going to hit stores until something else delays it. Well, Dr. Dre Detox fans, you may not have to wait much longer!

In a recent interview with USA Today, the West Coast super producer announced the Detox album will be hitting stores around November or December this year!

“I’m just now – over the last couple of months – starting to feel that it’s going to be right and it’s something I can be proud of, and everybody is going to love it,” Dre told the interviewer. “In a perfect world, I’m shooting for a November or December release.”

Now, it seems like we’ve heard that line before. I swear Dr. Dre’s Detox album was going to hit stores the past two or three winters ago. But to give Dre credit, he’s a perfectionist and if the album isn’t right, well, he’s simply not going to release it.

“I’ve never set out to do that,” Dre said. “I just make the music feel the way I want it to feel and I don’t put it out until I’m totally happy with it. Then it does what it does.”
