Tawanna Iverson

Tawanna Iverson

Tawanna Iverson - Tawanna Iverson is in the news because she recently filed for divorce from NBA player, Allen Iverson.

It has definitely been a very rough week for Allen Iverson. Matter of fact, it has been a very rough season for him in general. So far this year, he has been released from the Memphis Grizzlies, released from the 76ers, had his worst NBA season in his career, injuries as well as the fact that his daughter is suffering from an undisclosed illness which forced him to part ways with the 76ers.

Now comes Tawanna Iverson filing for divorce all at the same time. It seems as though the tough gets tougher and at the end of the day, it seems as though Allen Iverson’s career is just about done.

Tawanna has filed for divorce and full custody of their five children and Allen has 30 days to respond to that. They were high school sweethearts but this isn’t the first time they had some tough times. Though, they have tried to keep everything as private as it comes.

We’ll see what happens.

Sidney Crosby Girlfriend

Written by Jay on February 28, 2010 – -

Sidney Crosby Girlfriend – It looks like more and more people are jumping on the Sidney Crosby bandwagon especially since he recently scored the winning goal to help Canada defeat the United States team to win gold. Well, after all of that, I’m sure a lot of ladies are looking to see if Sidney Crosby has a girlfriend and if he doesn’t, he’s probably one of the hottest bachelors right now… search wise.

Crosby stars for the Pittsburgh Penguins and like I mentioned (and you should know by now), he scored the winning goal to help get Canada the gold medal. I’m sure a lot of people never even heard of him prior to that but I guess it’s irrelevant. Anyways, he’s a young phenom at only age 22 so I’m sure there will be a lot of young ladies looking to try to meet him.

Anyways, I did some research and there is currently nothing official saying he has a girlfriend. The most recent thing I could find was from 2007 when he denied having a girlfriend at all. But then again, a few years could always change things.

Hockey Overtime Rules Olympics

Written by Jay on February 28, 2010 – -

Hockey Overtime Rules Olympics

Hockey Overtime Rules Olympics – A lot of people searching for the Olympic hockey overtime rules because of the dramatic win that Canada pulled off against the United States.

Incase you guys missed it or want to know what happened, Sidney Crosby of Canada scored a goal in extra time to beat US 3-2 to win gold. That’s the conclusion on what happened in the Winter Olympics in hockey. But let’s get into the hockey overtime rules in the Olympics which is slightly different from NHL.

I believe if the game is tied at the end of regulation, there will be a 4 on 4 sudden death overtime period. In the Olympics, it depends on which round you are in for the time. For instance, there is a five minute overtime period in the preliminary rounds, 10 minutes in the playoff rounds and 20 minutes in the gold medal game. If the time expires then they will go to a shootout.

Anyways, I guess I have to give some credit to Canada for winning the gold medal for both men and women’s hockey. I’m sure a lot of people are celebrating like crazy or pissed off but either way, gold and silver go to Canada and the United States.
