The Book of Eli Spoilers – If you’re looking for The Book of Eli spoiler then continue reading. But if you are not then I would suggest that you do not continue because I will be giving away what happens at the end of the movie.

I had a chance to watch The Book of Eli when it first came out and I actually really liked the movie. It’s basically about one man who holds a “book” which would be the key to human survival. The book is actually the bible and apparently is one of the only ones left on an Earth that is post-apocalyptic. Eli (played by Denzel Washington) travels out West for years and years to bring the book to a colony that is trying to rebuild. Of course, he runs into some dangers of people trying to steal the book from him.

Well, he ends up giving up the book but still heads out west and ends up in the colony. He actually remembered the entire Bible word for word and repeated it and had someone write everything down.

The book that he gave away was all in braille so only blind people could read it. The person that took it from him couldn’t read it and was doomed by the people of the village he was living in.

We then find out that Eli was blind the whole time.

Solara (played by Mila Kunis) who traveled with Eli to the rebuilding colony leaves after Eli passes away and then goes back for her mother. And that is where the movie ends.
